Zephyranthes Zodiac Surprise
Zephyranthes ‘Zodiac Surprise’ is an incredible 2013 Yucca Do introduction that originated there as a seedling of Zephyranthes ‘Capricorn’. The 8″ tall flower stalks top the clump from midsummer into October…a few days after each summer rain. The cupped medium pink flowers are each highlighted by a large white center that radiates out into each petal. Our guess is that the other parent is one of the Zephyranthes ‘Labuffarosea’ hybrids. We have really been impressed with this unique rain lily. Because it is seed sterile, you won’t need to worry with off-type seedlings.
