Trillium lancifolium Ballerina
(aka; Trillium lancifolium A2FL-031) Trillium lancifolium ‘Ballerina’ is a Plant Delights selection of the widely distributed Trillium lancifolium from Gadsden County, Florida. Plants from this population were very interesting because not only were they solitary from a species that normally clumps, but the leaves were narrow and heavily silver flecked. The stalks are topped for us, starting in early-mid April with 1.5-2′ long burgundy petals. Thanks to the late Florida plantsman Angus Gholson for sharing a start of these with us.
