Sedum telephium Dark Magic PP 27619
Sedum ‘Dark Magic’ from our friends at Terra Nova, is one of the few dark purple-leaf stonecrops that have thrived in our summer heat and humidity. Typically, the dark purple leaf sedums fall apart or rot in our climate, but not Sedum ‘Dark Magic’. For us, this Sedum telephium seedling forms an 18″ tall x 2′ wide clump of sturdy black stems and glossy purple-black, scalloped leaves. The clumps are topped for us in June with broccoli-like flower heads of medium pink…a pollinator’s favorite…great in the rock garden.
