Oxalis triangularis Jade PP 17558
(aka: Oxalis ‘Jroxfroja’) This wonderful new selection of the clumping (non-weedy) Oxalis triangularis comes from oxalis breeder Jozsef Retkes of Hungary. Oxalis ‘Jade’ has lovely pewter leaves on a 8″ tall x 16″ wide deciduous clump, topped in early spring and fall with bouquets of pure white flowers held just above the foliage…simply exquisite! Unfortunately, it was patented under the nonsensical cultivar name ‘Jroxfroja’ and sold under the invalid trademark name Charmed Jade…what marketing genius doesn’t understand plant nomenclature?
