Oxalis triangularis Irish Mist
This selection of O. triangularis makes a 10″ wide rosette of three-lobed leaves, topped in late spring with a nice display of pure white flowers. In spring, the light green leaves are heavily speckled white, like my home after I hired a hungover painter. The speckles on Oxalis fade when the weather gets hot but return with cooler night temperatures. As with all O. triangularis cultivars, there is no worry of spreading or seeding around the garden…perfect for the rock garden!
