xMangave ‘Tooth Fairy’ is a unique 2012 Hans Hansen creation that combines Agave macroacantha, Agave shawii, with a dose of a purple spotted manfreda. xMangave ‘Tooth Fairy’ forms a 18″ tall x 18″ wide, solitary rosette of glaucous blue leaves, densely patterned with muted, small, purple spots and edged with a fine line of bright red, eyelash-like, jagged teeth and a 1.5″ long, brilliant red terminal spine. Put one of those under your pillow for a memorable night. Where it isn’t winter hardy, xMangave ‘Tooth Fairy’ makes a splendid container specimen.
