Lycoris rosea Neon Nights
Lycoris ‘Neon Nights’ has been one of our best performing lycoris since we received it from plantsman Jim Waddick in 1999. This fast-multiplying clone produces 2′ tall stalks, starting in late July (NC). Stalks of Lycoris x rosea ‘Neon Nights’ are topped with a cluster of flowers, each with narrow pink petals and contrasting blue tips. Lycoris ‘Neon Nights’ is a hybrid between Lycoris radiata and Lycoris sprengeri that produces narrow foliage in October, which remains green all winter. We are thrilled to finally have enough to share!
