Kniphofia Parmentier
This small kniphofia resembles an ornamental grass instead of a red hot poker. The clump of grass-like foliage lends a wonderful soft texture to garden combinations. From mid-May through July, K. ‘Parmentier’ is topped with narrow, 2′ tall, golden-orange spikes. The top of the spike is slightly more orange, while the bottom is slightly more gold. This has been a very good performer in our kniphofia trials.
