Hosta Kiwi Full Monty
This most unusual sport of Hosta ‘Striptease’ was introduced in 2000 by New Zealand’s Barry Sligh. In what had never been observed in hostas before, the green part of the Hosta ‘Striptease’ leaf mutated to bluish-green. The change, contrasted with the wide central cream stripe, makes for an outstandingly beautiful plant. For us, Hosta ‘Kiwi Full Monty’ makes a 20″ tall x 3′ wide clump, topped with 2′ tall scapes of light lavender flowers that attract hummingbirds in early summer.
