Hemerocallis Toy Trumpets
When I first saw this Bob Sobek hybrid in the garden of Marty Schaefer and Jan Sacks, I knew it was one I had to grow. The light airy nature and profusion of tall flower spikes have made Hemerocallis ‘Toy Trumpets’ one of our favorite daylilies for garden appeal. In mid-June, the clumps are topped with 3′ tall stalks, bearing an abundance of small, 2.5″ bright golden-yellow flowers.
