Helleborus iburgensis Pippas Purple PP 27121
(aka: Helleborus RD09) Helleborus x iburgensis ‘Pippa’s Purple’ is the next in the series of hybrid lenten roses (Helleborus x hybridus x Helleborus x ballardiae) that produced Helleborus ‘Anna’s Red’ and ‘Penny’s Pink’. From Rodney Davey and Lynda Windsor, we present Helleborus ‘Pippa’s Purple’. The stunning silver-veined foliage is reminiscent of its siblings, and the 1′ tall x 2′ wide clump is topped in late winter with up to 11 stalks of large violet-purple flowers. As with the rest of the series, Helleborus ‘Pippa’s Purple’ is completely sterile with outfacing flowers. Be the first of your plant-geek friends to have this new gem.
