Helleborus hybridus Winter Dream Black
This cloned selection is one of the first Helleborus x hybridus to be tissue cultured. Between here and the Asian lab, there is some confusion over the clone’s origin, but we’re pretty sure that the original came from the hellebore experts at the UK’s Ashwood Nursery. The deer-resistant clumps are topped in late winter with a stunning display of slaty-black flowers held just above the foliage.
