Gladiolus Rosy Cheeks
(aka: Homoglad) Gladiolus ‘Rosy Cheeks’, a 2017 Plant Delights Nursery introduction, is the rosy pink-flowered companion to our equally dwarf, early-flowering Gladiolus ‘Buttery Cheeks’. Starting in early April (NC), each flower on the 2′ tall spikes is a spectacle with a soft pink base, a yellow eye, and bright red mascara lines running the length of each petal…truly breathtaking. The grass-like foliage is so thin, it doesn’t detract from the lovely floral show. All of our rock garden-sized “Cheeks” series of gladiolus are easy to grow, fast to multiply, and go dormant by mid-May.
