Epimedium Rise and Shine
Epimedium ‘Rise and Shine’, a 2020 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction, is one of the most amazing fairy wings we’ve ever introduced. The unique, glossy green foliage, often with forked tips, emerges edged in red and topped, starting in late March with 1′ tall stalks of large, spider-shaped ivory flowers contrasted with an amber cup, all of which darken to amber pink as they age. The foliage alone on this 26″ wide clumper is enough reason to grow Epimedium ‘Rise and Shine’, but the flowers are the icing on the proverbial cake.
