Adiantum lorentzii ‘Salta Splendor’ is a 2007 Plant Delights Nursery introduction that hails from the Salta Province of Argentina, at 4100′ elevation near the town of Cachi. This tall, airy maidenhair fern has thrived in our lightly shaded woodland garden since 2007. Adiantum lorentzii ‘Salta Splendor’ is a particularly robust deciduous clump-former that forms a 2′ tall x 3′ wide mound of 3′ long glossy arching black stipes that compose the elegant fronds…simply splendid!
