xMangave ‘Navajo Princess’ is 2018 Walters Gardens release created from a cross with the high elevation Mexican Agave montana and the very winter-hardy US native Manfreda maculosa. xMangave ‘Navajo Princess’ forms a solitary, 20″‘ tall x 3.5’ wide rosette of rubbery green leaves with faint, large, purple blotches and a stunning, wide, creamy white border. We have trialed this in the ground since 2018, and have had excellent winter hardiness. xMangave ‘Navajo Princess’ makes a great container specimen where it isn’t winter hardy in the ground.
