Agave simplex Snow Devil
(aka: Agave deserti spp. simplex) Agave ‘Snow Devil’ is one of the most unique century plants we grow. This mutation of the southern Arizona/California native Agave simplex forms a 20″ tall x 3′ wide rosette of grey green leaves, each with a central white misty pattern…a stunning container specimen. Being from the dry Sonoran Desert region, Agave ‘Snow Devil’ prefers to stay on the dry side, so avoid too much water, both in the ground and in containers. When these pop-up on plant auction sites, the sale price is usually several hundred dollars.
