Trillium freatum
(aka: Trillium x freatum 056ex) Trillium x freatum represents our nursery-propagated hybrids between our discovery, the soon-to-be-published Trillium freemanii (pod parent) and the baby daddy, a Trillium cuneatum from Lexington, NC. The result is a strain of very vigorous trilliums that grow like giant Trillium cuneatums, but with petals that can range from narrow to wide, representing the range between the two parents. The leaves are nicely mottled silver and olive green.
