Zephyranthes lindleyana Puerto Pink
(aka: Zephyranthes lindleyana A1M-029) Zephyranthes lindleyana ‘Puerto Pink’ produces lovely pink goblet-shaped flowers atop 8″ stems starting in late April (NC) and continuing through May. The incredibly drought-tolerant Zephyranthes lindleyana will go completely dormant in dry weather, only to have the glaucous green leaves return after a rain. Unlike many rain lilies, Zephyranthes lindleyana flowers only in spring, just after Zephyranthes atamasca. Zephyranthes lindleyana ‘Puerto Pink’ is propagated from our original 1994 collection at 3,800′ elevation in Puerto Purificacion, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
