Polygonatum lasianthum var tricosanthum Kon Chiri Shima
Polygonatum ‘Kon Chiri Shima’ is a highly prized selection of the Asian Polygonatum lasianthum var. tricosanthum. The 1′ long, thin, arching stems are clothed with 3″ long x 1.5″ wide green leaves that are heavily banded with chartreuse sectors. The stems are adorned by small white pendulous flowers in late April (NC). Polygonatum ‘Kon Chiri Shima’ forms a 2′ wide patch in 10 years.
