Yucca recurvifolia Variegata
Yucca recurvifolia is another of the great southeast native deer-resistant yuccas (GA west to LA). Over the years, it has been surprisingly difficult to find many of the great selections of this species, so we are particularly glad to be able to offer the wonderful Yucca recurvifolia ‘Variegata’. This trunked yucca, to 6′ in 10 years, has wide, soft, weeping blue-green leaves, each edged with a nice band of chartreuse. The 2′ spike of large, white bell-shaped flowers emerges in mid summer from the top of the clump once the clump is 2-3 years old.
