Epimedium grandiflorum Yubae
(syn: Epimedium ‘Crimson Beauty’, Epimedium ‘Rose Queen’) Epimedium ‘Yubae’ is a popular and vigorous Japanese selection of the tight-clumping, deer-resistant Epimedium grandiflorum, topped in early spring with stalks of cranberry-red flowers held just above the bronze-emerging new foliage. Each flower is accented by a darker cranberry cup and tiny white-tipped spurs. Epimedium ‘Yubae’ is always a favorite of spring garden visitors, and we again have enough to share. The citrus-like floral aroma is strongest in the afternoon. If you’d like one, Yubae the price, and we’ll send it right along.
