Baptisia lanceolata coll A1FL 077
This seed collection of the little known B. lanceolata comes from dry sandy banks near the town of Havana in Gadsden Co., Florida. In early spring, the 20″ wide clumps are adorned with small yellow flowers on the terminal branches. This BIO (botanical interest only) plant is not one of the showier species; therefore, you will probably never see it offered from another nursery…at least one that wants to remain in business.
