Hosta Totally Awe Sum
Hosta ‘Totally Awe Sum’ is one of those strange hostas you either love or hate…I happen to be in the former camp. Hosta ‘Totally Awe Sum’ is a bizarre mutation of Hosta ‘Sum and Substance’ that forms a small clump of crinkly, contorted leaves similar to Hosta ‘Stitch in Time’. Each leaf is edged with a wide green border that ages to gold. The center of each leaf is a wide patch of lighter green/chartreuse, separated from the outer band by a squiggly, narrow white pattern. Hosta ‘Totally Awe Sum’ is a very slow growing collector hosta that eventually forms a 16″ tall x 20″ wide clump.
